Built for the
independent researcher.
Analytical labs were built around institutions: purchase orders, account managers, minimum volumes and a procurement process to get through first. If you were one person with one vial, there was rarely a door to knock on — so the normal thing to do was to trust the label and carry on.
TestMyResearch exists to close that gap. The same instruments, the same methods and the same certificate an institutional client would receive, available to an individual ordering a single sample with a card.

What a purity figure actually means.
Purity is quoted as HPLC area percent, and a single percentage point can move a sample from one grade into the next: 99% and 98% are not the same specification. Here is how the bands are conventionally read.
Very low level of detected chromatographic impurities.
Highest purity. Used where the number itself has to be trusted.
The common high-purity research specification.
Suitable for most pharmaceutical and biological studies.
Often acceptable for analytical and research applications.
Widely used in standard assays, and what most vendors claim.
More impurity peaks present.
General screening. Can interfere with delicate bioactivity.
A significant impurity fraction.
Preliminary work and synthesis scale-up development.
Usually needs further purification before purity-sensitive use.
Not appropriate for sensitive assays without purification.
These bands are the industry’s conventional reading, not a TestMyResearch standard. We don’t issue a grade — your certificate carries the measured area percent at 214 nm and the full peak table. Area percent is a relative measure of UV-absorbing species: it says nothing about water, salts or counter-ions, which is why a 98% peptide can still be well under 98% of the vial by weight.
Testing should be
the normal first step.
Peptides sold for research are not held to pharmaceutical release testing. There is no regulator between the synthesis reactor and your bench. Whatever quality control happened upstream, you have no way of seeing it — and no way of proving it to anyone else.
Our goal is to make testing the ordinary thing you do before a peptide is used in your research, the way nobody thinks twice about calibrating an instrument first. An independent COA replaces a supplier’s word with a chromatogram and a mass spectrum, dated, numbered, and verifiable by anyone who asks. Read the full case for testing first.
One vial or a whole lot. If you work on your own, a COA is how you know what you have before you start. If you resell or supply, a third-party COA per lot is the cheapest trust you will ever buy.
The label is a claim, not a measurement
Research peptides move through long, unregulated supply chains. A vial marked 5 mg is a statement from the seller — until an instrument says otherwise, nobody has verified it.
Underdosed and overdosed vials look identical
You cannot see mass. A vial can contain a fraction of the stated peptide, padded out with excipient, and look exactly like a correctly filled one.
Synthesis leaves things behind
Truncated and deletion sequences, incomplete deprotection, oxidized residues, residual solvent. HPLC is what separates “mostly the peptide” from “90% the peptide”.
The wrong peptide entirely
Mass spectrometry occasionally finds a molecule with nothing to do with the label. That is not a purity problem — only a mass measurement catches it.
Three steps between you and an answer.
Create your free account
Individual or business — both are free, and an individual account needs nothing but an email address. A business account adds your company name to your certificates and invoices, and brings additional Starter panels on the same order down to $99 per sample instead of $250. Registering takes about thirty seconds, and it is what lets us match your parcel to the right order when it arrives.
Order and post your sample
Choose a package or individual tests for each vial and pay. The intake address and your order number are emailed straight away. One vial is enough.
Get your COA
Your certificate lands in your inbox, with a COA number you can share with anyone who needs to check it.
Three packages. No minimums.
Published per-sample pricing, the same whether you send one vial or fifty. Pick a package per sample and add anything it doesn’t already cover; a single test on its own is $150. No setup fee, no account fee, no minimum order, and no volume tier you have to negotiate for.

Expedited
One flat $200 for the whole order, however many vials you send.
Test now. Pay over time.
Testing should never be the step you skip because of cash flow. At checkout you can pay by card, or split the cost with a buy-now-pay-later provider — the lab still starts work the moment your sample arrives.
Klarna
Split into 4 interest-free payments, or pay in 30 days.
Afterpay
4 interest-free installments, every 2 weeks.

Monthly payment plans on larger multi-sample orders.
Pay-later options are provided by third parties, are subject to their approval and terms, and may not be available in every country. Cards are always accepted.
A report you can hand to someone else.
Every certificate carries a unique COA number. Anyone — a customer, a collaborator, someone on a forum — can type that number into our COA lookup and see the same result you did. No login, no screenshots, no arguing.

Before you order.
Something not covered here? Email us and a person who works in the lab will answer.
No. An individual account is all you need — no institutional affiliation, no purchase order, no company details and no minimum order. One person sending one vial is the case this service was built around. Business accounts exist for people who want a company name printed on their certificates, but nothing about the testing or the report changes.
One vial per sample, whatever you order on it — we subdivide the material across the methods. For lyophilized powder, 2 mg or more is ideal; we can usually work with less, and we will tell you before we start if the amount is marginal. For reconstituted solution, send at least 0.5 mL.
From sample check-in at the lab, not from when you place the order. Identity, purity, endotoxin and heavy metals are 48–72 hours as standard, or 24–36 hours expedited for a flat $200 per order. Microbiology cannot be rushed: bioburden takes about 5 days and sterility runs a 14-day incubation because USP 71 requires it. The order form shows the real date before you pay.
Yes. Your account is where your orders, intake forms and certificates live, and it is how we match an incoming parcel to the right order. Individual and business accounts are both free.
Yes. At checkout you can pay by card or split the cost with Klarna, Afterpay or Affirm, subject to their approval. Your sample is queued as soon as the plan is confirmed.
You get the same certificate, with the actual numbers on it. We do not soften results and we do not charge differently for a failing result — you are paying for the measurement, not for a particular answer.
Before it is used in your research, and once per lot. A new lot is a new synthesis, so a result from a previous batch tells you nothing about the vial in front of you. Testing first is the whole point — a certificate that arrives after the work is done cannot change what the work was based on. More on why and when to test.
No, and we never will. Selling the thing we test would make our results worthless. We are an analysis service only.
