Terms of Service
The agreement between you and TestMyResearch when you open an account, send us a sample, or rely on a certificate we issue.
Version 1.1 · Effective 21 August 2026
The short version
A result is a measurement
Never a recommendation. Nothing we issue suggests any substance should be used, consumed or administered.
Research use only
Samples must not be intended for human or veterinary use. We do not promote, support or condone such use.
One sample, one day
A certificate describes the exact material we received, on the date we tested it. It certifies no other vial, lot or batch.
This summary is for orientation only and is not part of the agreement. The numbered sections below are the terms that bind.
1This agreement
Who you are contracting with
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Test My Research LLC, trading as TestMyResearch. They apply every time you create an account, submit a sample, or rely on a certificate we issue. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
You must be an adult
You must be at least 18 years old, and legally able to enter contracts, to hold an account or submit a sample.
Changes
The version in force when you place an order is the version that governs that order. Material changes are notified by email or on the site. This document is version 1.1, effective 21 August 2026.
2What we do, and what we are not
We are an analytical testing service, nothing else
TestMyResearch performs analytical chemistry on samples customers send us. We measure. That is the entire service. We do not manufacture, sell, distribute, broker, import, export, resell, or take commission on peptides. We have no financial interest in the material you send or in any vendor who supplied it.
We do not recommend the use of anything
This is the most important term in this document. A certificate of analysis is a measurement, not a recommendation. Nothing we issue — no certificate, result, purity figure, identity confirmation, email, or statement by our staff — is a recommendation, endorsement, encouragement or suggestion that any substance should be used, consumed, administered, injected, ingested, applied, purchased, sold or distributed, by anyone, for any purpose. A result showing high purity is not a statement that the material is safe.
We do not promote human or veterinary use
We do not promote, support, facilitate or condone the use of peptides or research chemicals in humans or animals. Samples must be research materials and must not be intended for human or veterinary use. If we reasonably believe a sample is intended for administration, we may refuse the order, halt testing, withhold results and retain the fee.
Nothing here is medical, veterinary or legal advice
We are not physicians, pharmacists, veterinarians or lawyers, and we give no medical, clinical, dosing, nutritional, veterinary or legal advice. We are not a regulatory body and our certificates are not regulatory approvals of any kind.
3What a certificate does and does not tell you
Results describe one sample, as received
Every result applies solely to the material we physically received, in the condition it arrived, on the date we tested it. It says nothing about any other vial, container, batch, lot or shipment — including other units from the same lot. Testing one vial from a batch does not certify the batch.
We cannot verify where a sample came from
We test what arrives in the post. We have no visibility of how the material was made, stored, shipped or labeled before it reached us. The peptide name, lot number and source on a certificate are as declared by you.
What purity percent actually measures
Purity is reported as HPLC area percent at 214 nm. It is a relative measure of UV-absorbing species detected by the method. It is not a mass or weight assay. It does not measure water content, residual solvent, salts, counter-ions, sterility, microbial contamination or heavy metals. It does not measure endotoxin either — that is a separate assay, ordered separately. Material reported at 98% area purity may be substantially less than 98% peptide by weight in the vial.
What identity confirmation means
Identity is confirmed by measuring molecular mass against the theoretical mass of the declared sequence. Mass spectrometry cannot distinguish between sequences of identical composition, and confirming a mass is not a full structural elucidation. A confirmed identity does not establish potency, biological activity, sterility or safety.
What an endotoxin result means
Where an endotoxin test is ordered, bacterial endotoxin is measured by Limulus Amebocyte Lysate assay and reported in endotoxin units per milligram. It detects bacterial endotoxin and nothing else. A low endotoxin figure is not a sterility result, not a pyrogen clearance, not a statement that material is free of other contaminants, and not a statement that anything is safe to administer to any human or animal.
What sterility, bioburden and heavy metals results mean
Sterility is tested to USP <71> and bioburden to USP <61>; the heavy metals panel reports elemental impurities by ICP-MS. Each result covers only the vial submitted for that test and only the organisms or elements the method detects. A passing sterility result on one vial says nothing about any other vial, and no result of ours establishes that material is fit to administer to any human or animal.
Not a safety assessment
Beyond the tests actually ordered, we do not test for anything else, and we offer no opinion on the safety, toxicity, potency or biological effect of any material. No combination of results we issue amounts to a clearance for use, a release for human or veterinary administration, or a substitute for the manufacturing controls a legitimate drug product is made under.
4Your obligations when you send us a sample
What you promise us
Each time you submit a sample you represent and warrant that: the material is a research sample and is not intended for human or veterinary use; you lawfully own or are entitled to possess it and to send it to us; doing so breaches no law, regulation, license condition, export control or third-party right; it is not a controlled, scheduled, prescription or otherwise restricted substance; it is not biological, infectious, human- or animal-derived tissue, radioactive, explosive or otherwise hazardous; and you have accurately declared what it is.
Samples we will not accept
We may refuse, quarantine, dispose of, or hand to the relevant authorities any sample we reasonably believe is a controlled substance, is hazardous, is unlawfully held or has been misdeclared. Where we are legally required to report a submission, we will. No refund is due for a sample refused under this clause.
Shipping is your responsibility
You are responsible for packaging properly, for complying with every applicable carrier rule and shipping law, and for the cost and risk of getting the sample to us. Risk passes to us only on check-in at the laboratory. We are not liable for material lost, delayed, damaged or seized in transit, or for packages that arrive unlabeled.
Your sample will be consumed or destroyed
Testing consumes material. We do not return samples. Any remainder is retained for 30 days after we release your certificate and is then destroyed. Do not send material you cannot afford to lose.
5Orders, prices and payment
Prices
Testing is sold as packages, priced per sample: Starter at $250 covers identity and purity; Advanced at $450 adds endotoxin and heavy metals; Pro at $600 covers all six tests. A single test on its own is $150. Bought separately, endotoxin is $168, sterility $120, bioburden $80 and heavy metals $120. Business accounts may add further Starter panels at $99 per additional sample on the same order. Expedited turnaround is a flat $200 per order. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax, duty or bank charge.
Payment
Payment is due when you place the order, and we do not begin testing until payment or an approved payment plan is confirmed. Card payments and buy-now-pay-later plans are processed by third parties — we never receive or store your card details. Pay-later plans are agreements between you and the provider.
Turnaround times are estimates
Turnaround runs from sample check-in at the laboratory, not from when you order or post. For identity, purity, endotoxin and heavy metals, standard is 48–72 hours and expedited is 24–36 hours. Microbiology is incubation-bound and cannot be expedited: bioburden takes approximately 5 days and sterility runs a 14-day incubation as USP 71 requires. Where an order mixes the two, the certificate is released when the slowest test completes. These are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Instrument downtime, failed system suitability or an unusable sample may extend them, and we are not liable for loss arising from a delay.
Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel for a full refund at any time before your sample is checked in at the laboratory. Once a sample has been checked in and entered for processing the fee is non-refundable, because the work is scheduled and the material is consumed. This is set out in full in our Refund Policy. You are paying for a measurement, not for a particular answer: an unfavourable result is a delivered service and is not grounds for a refund. If we make a demonstrable analytical error, our sole obligation is to re-run at no charge where material remains, or refund the fee for the affected test.
6Using your certificate
What you may do
The certificate is yours. You may share it, publish it, and give the COA number to anyone — that is what the verification page is for.
What you may not do
You must not alter, edit or falsify a certificate or any figure in it; quote a figure in a way that misleads, such as omitting the sample, date or qualifications; present a certificate for one sample as though it applies to another vial, lot or product; state or imply that we endorse you, your product or any vendor; state or imply that a result establishes a substance is safe or fit for consumption; or use our name or marks in marketing beyond an accurate statement that the specific sample was tested by us, with the COA number shown.
We can withdraw a certificate
If a certificate is misused as described above, or was issued on the basis of a misdeclared sample, we may revoke it. A revoked COA number will show as invalid on the public lookup.
Testing does not endorse your supplier
A certificate says nothing about the vendor who sold you the material, their other products or their manufacturing. We do not endorse suppliers.
7Liability
Decisions you make are yours
You are solely responsible for any decision taken in reliance on a result we issue — including decisions to buy, sell, distribute, keep, discard, publish or use any material. We accept no responsibility for the consequences of those decisions, and specifically none for any injury, illness or death arising from any person using any substance, whether or not we tested it.
No warranties beyond the stated method
We will perform the analysis with reasonable skill and care, using the methods described on this site. Beyond that the service is provided as is, and to the fullest extent the law allows we exclude all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
Cap on our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of an order — in contract, tort including negligence, statute or otherwise — is limited to the fees you actually paid for the specific test giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, nor loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, reputation or data. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Nobody else can sue us on your certificate
Our contract is with you alone. A certificate confers no rights on anyone else — not your customers, not downstream purchasers, not readers of a forum post.
You cover us if your material causes harm
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, demand, loss, liability, penalty and reasonable legal cost arising from your breach of these Terms; any inaccuracy in what you declared; your possession, shipment, sale or distribution of any material; any use of a substance by you or anyone else; and any misuse or misrepresentation of a certificate.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by anything beyond our reasonable control, including instrument failure, loss of reagent supply, utility or network outage, carrier failure, industrial action, fire, flood, epidemic, act of government or change in law.
8Your account and your data
Keeping your account secure
Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Give us accurate details and keep them current — we use them to match incoming packages to orders and to send results.
What we hold, and who sees it
We hold your account details, your orders, what you told us about each sample, and the results we produce. We keep records of the work we do, including after an account is closed, because a testing laboratory must be able to stand behind a certificate it issued. We do not publish your identity. The COA lookup returns a certificate only to someone who already holds the number; it cannot be browsed or enumerated. You decide who to give your COA number to.
Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account, and refuse future orders, if you breach these Terms, misuse a certificate, submit a prohibited sample, or attempt to interfere with the service.
9General
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. You may only bring claims in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding.
If part of this is unenforceable
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it is severed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest continues in force.
Everything else
These Terms, together with your order details, are the entire agreement between us. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement; we may assign it to a successor to our business.
