TestMyResearch exists for one reason: to put an independent number on material that nobody else has checked. We are not a supplier with a lab attached, and we never will be — the moment we sold peptides, our results would be worth nothing.
The methods, run properly
Identity runs on LC-MS with electrospray ionization, with MALDI-TOF for confirmation where a sample ionizes poorly. Purity runs on reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection at 214 nm — the wavelength the peptide bond absorbs at — using area normalization, the same basis suppliers quote their own numbers on. Endotoxin is a kinetic chromogenic LAL assay reported in EU/mg, elemental impurities go by ICP-MS, and sterility and bioburden run to USP 71 and USP 61.
Every batch of samples runs alongside blanks and system suitability injections. If the system doesn’t pass, your sample doesn’t run — we would rather tell you about a one-day delay than release a number we don’t trust.
We publish our methods rather than a badge. If a specific accreditation matters for your use case, ask us before you order and we will tell you plainly what we do and don’t hold.
Four rules we don't bend
No conflict of interest
We do not manufacture, sell, distribute, resell or take commission on peptides. Not now, not through a sister company. Our only product is the measurement.
The number is the number
We report what the instrument recorded. A failing result costs the same as a passing one and gets the same certificate. Nobody can pay us to round up.
Methods in the open
Column chemistry, gradient, detection wavelength, ionisation mode — it all goes on the certificate. If you want to reproduce our work elsewhere, you have what you need.
Publicly verifiable
Every certificate has a number anyone can check on this site. A COA that can’t be verified against the issuing lab is just a picture of a PDF.
Who runs your sample
Small lab, named analysts. The person who signs your certificate is the person who ran the injection.

Ananya oversees method development and result review at TestMyResearch. She is responsible for how every identity and purity method on this site is run, and reviews the chromatograms and spectra behind each certificate before it is released.
Her position on borderline results is the reason this lab exists: when a measurement is ambiguous, the certificate says so. It does not get rounded into a pass.
